The third world charity GOAL hosts annually a series of “GOAL Miles” throughout Ireland during the Christmas season, and MSB generally host this event in Porterstown Park on St. Stephen's Day each year.

The GOAL Mile consists of four laps of the MSB grass track in Porterstown Park. Participants are asked to make a donation before setting off at approximately fifteen minute intervals. There is usually a timer displayed and participants can receive a certificate of completion with their recorded time.

Some run, some jog, but a large number just walk around the one mile route, with many families taking part.

So why not come along on St. Stephen's Day, get some light exercise and, at the same time, raise money for a great cause.
