Great Ireland/National 10k 2017

A national title for the MSB woman's team! The Great Ireland Run incorporated the National 10k Road Race Championships and with Catherina Mullen, Kate O'Neill and women's captain Sarah Fay came in with a combined time of 1:56:14 to take the Gold Medal by over three minutes from Galway City Harriers in Second and Dundrum South Dublin in third place.
More success on an individual basis with John Coghlan in sixth place (tenth in Great Ireland) in a time of 31:25 in the men's race and Catherina Mullen fourth (seventh woman in Great Ireland) in a time of 36:30 and Kate O'Neill sixth (tenth woman in Great Ireland) in a time of 37:40

Special mention to James Monahan from the U13 group who came over the line in 4th place in the 9-11 race which is a fantastic performance!
There were also many other great performances from all the MSB athletes that took part in the Great Ireland Run.
