Three incredible performances in the 2017 Chicago Marathon with all three MSB athletes breaking the 3-hour barrier!

The conditions were perfect in the Windy City for marathon running so the hopes were very high with the training done and all three on the start line injury free.

John McMenamin was first MSB athlete home breaking the 2:50 mark with a brilliant 2:49.07

Second MSB athlete over the line was Paul Spollen, our very own club captain, who broke the 3-hours for the first time with a superb 2:54.59

Paul Farrell, not to be outdone, crossed theline in 2:58.39 to complete the full set!

What a fantastic inspration for us all!
