  even age XC 2017

After the recent bad weather, it was MSB's turn to take Dublin by storm (sorry had to be done!) in the Even Age Dublin Juvenile Cross Country Championships out in Abbotstown yesterday.

With 46 athletes entered along with six teams, MSB had a huge presence with a sea of green and blue singlets standing out in most races.

MSB managed to come away with a team medal in 5 of the 6 races where there were enough athletes to make up a team which is a fantastic achievement.

Thanks to all those who set up the gazebo, sorted the numbers, warmed up the athletes, got them to the start line and provided tea, coffee, biscuits and cakes. Special thanks to Caoilinn Mohan for being our official MSB photographer.

Also, well done to Shane Healy and Mel Hilliard who ran in the masters 7.5k race in the Autumn International later on in the day on the same course out in Abbotstown. Shane Healy stormed to victory in the M45 age group and was 5th overall and Mel crossed the line in 20th place in M45.
